Fees
Dr. Grote requests payment at the time of service. She accepts cash, personal checks, and major credit cards. The fee for one hour of consultation and 50-minute individual therapy sessions is $195. Psychological/psychoeducational evaluations are $3,300 and include the 60-90 minute intake appointment, testing session(s), and the 60-90 minute feedback meeting. The review of records and phone consultation(s) to obtain collateral information (e.g., from a teacher, family member, treatment provider, etc.), if applicable, are included in the fee for a psychological/psychoeducational evaluation. There is a reduced fee for ADHD only evaluations, which can be discussed with Dr. Grote. IQ testing only (e.g., the WISC-V or WAIS-IV) is $600. Academic achievement testing only (e.g., the WIAT-4) is also $600.
Payment for psychological/ psychoeducational evaluations is typically split into two payments (i.e., the first payment due at the intake appointment and the second payment due at the feedback meeting), but other payment structures can be discussed on an individual basis. A 20% discount is available to college students and graduate/medical students seeking a learning disability and/or ADHD evaluation who are paying for the evaluation themselves and do not have parental financial support.
A career assessment costs $2,100 and allows Dr. Grote to help a person match his/her/their abilities, interests, values, and personality traits with career options and identify the best career path/career change for him/her/them to pursue. The process involves approximately two hours of online questionnaires that can be completed anywhere (e.g., home, school, etc.) and at least two in person or video conference calls with Dr. Grote. Based on the assessment results, Dr. Grote generates a thorough report that provides a carefully curated list of the person’s top 100 career matches and then she helps him/her/them narrow the list to a top few. The report includes a detailed action plan that helps the person further research and take steps towards his/her/their top few career matches.
